Message remove the transmission to get to it from underneath, otherwise you can't reach the hose clamps. Maybe if you removed the driver's side down pipes you might be able to reach it... it's tucked pretty high up. When I replaced my clutch I replaced that coolant hose as a preventative measure.

However, you should double check that it's not the larger heater core hoses at the rear of the engine. I've had to replace those before and they can be done from the top with some patience and the right tool extensions. If you were going to remove the plenum anyway, then it would give you more space to do it.
